For years, Bermuda cruises have been one of our agency’s most popular vacations. They’ve also been, hands down, my family’s favorite cruise holiday. So, when Princess Cruises announced it would resume regular Bermuda sailings this season, I already knew where I would spend my summer vacation. I’ve had a soft spot in my heart for Bermuda cruises since I first started in the travel business over eleven years ago. The sailings, then and now, orlandoresorts seem like vintage wines that just get better and better over time. There’s an ideal balance of time at sea mixed with days enjoying in Bermuda’s beautiful setting and friendly, English-speaking people. The island itself orlandoresorts is, for me, magical. Views of the island’s bays are like an Impressionist’s dream of sailboats and sky. And I love the charm of Bermuda’s towns, with their British colonial atmosphere and interesting shopping. The staff’s warm welcome was a perfect way to begin a wonderful getaway. For a few wonderful days, my husband and I indulged ourselves in all the delights orlandoresorts this spotless Jamaican "all-inclusive" offered. For starters, the resort has one of the island’s best beaches, a glorious three-mile stretch of white sand. A day didn’t go by without orlandoresorts at least a couple of hours there. We didn’t stay all day only because the crystal-clear Caribbean was far too tempting to resist. My particular passion, water-skiing, was tailor-made for Couples. The rest was up to the Caribbean and us. Needless to say, we had a fabulous time. Away from the water, we enjoyed socializing with the other, mostly friendly vacationers. Typically, there’s a pleasant mix of people at Couples, from retired snowbirds to honeymooners. And this trip was no exception. We made plenty of new acquaintances, especially while we were dining. ©2003 www.best-orlando-resort.com All rights reserved. |
